European Bronze Age Arrowhead

Circa 1000 BC

Description: Universal bronze arrowhead with gently raised midrib, flat back and long narrow squared tang. While sturdily cast, the arrowhead is delicate in appearance with a nearly flat blade symmetrically notched at the tip creating a feather-like shape. Nice example of Bronze Age weaponry.

Length: 6.4 in. (16 cm)

Condition: Intact with smooth dark emerald green patina. Protective case included.

Provenance: Formerly in an old private Midwestern collection specializing in Bronze Age weapons. Marked on the reverse side with collector's note: "N. ITALY 1000 BC."
