Canadian Scientist Heralds Evidence of Noah's Flood

A team of scientists including a geologist from Manitoba are suggesting they have scientific evidence that a massive flood innundated large areas of the Middle East around the time of the great flood of Noah as described in the Bible.

The team has published its findings in the scientific journal Quaternary International.

The scientists have discovered remnants of tiny shelled marine organisms in the sand dunes of the Arabian desert. The team believes that the creatures were deposited in the desert about 20,000 years ago as melting ice from the last major Ice Age raised the levels of the oceans and flooded the Persian Gulf area.
