Near Eastern Bronze Gazelle Pendant

Circa 3rd Century AD

Description:   A delightful cast bronze pendant in the form of a small slender gazelle.  The animals stands with its back and forelegs close together.  It has small horns and a short rounded tail.  Pierced through the back and at the bottom below the hooves.  A gold wire suspension hoop.  Custom mounted on a wood block stand.

Height:  1.4 in. (3.5 cm)

Condition:  Intact as shown.

Provenance:  Formerly in a private East Coast, USA collection.
