Near Eastern Goddess Figure
Circa 2000-1500 BC
Description: Stylized terracotta figurine with a beaked face. She stands with a slender flattened body that is flared at the base. Her pudgy arms are raised to her chest. The figure has a small head with round eyes outlined in relief. Her hair is pulled back and etched to provide a textured appearance.
Height: 4.75 in. (12 cm)
Condition: Intact with a minor chip to the base and damage to the necklace as visible in photo.
Provenance: Formerly in an East Coast, USA private collection.
