Byzantine Lead CrossCirca 6th-7th Century AD
Description: Pendant cross pierced at the top for suspension. Molded from a single piece of lead with the addition of a simple, minimalist floral design in raised relief. Gray-green patina. Engraved herringbone pattern. Very attractive.
Condition: Intact with dark patina and intact suspension loop. Wearable. Provenance: Formerly in a private West Coast collection.
