Millefiori Mosaic Glass Bead

Circa 2nd-3rd Century AD

Description: Classic elongated millefiori cylindrical bead with tiny flower patterns against yellow background capped with red. The type is thought to have originated in Roman Egypt or Syria. A nice, early example.

Height: .75 in. (2.0 cm)

Condition: Some wear but intact and attractive.
