South Italian Black-Glazed Juglet

Circa 4th Century BC

Description: Black-glazed elegantly shaped single-handled jugs with lustrous surface. The juglet has a full rounded body with offset neck, flared lip, broad flat-in-section handle and low raised ring base.

Height: 2.3 in. (6 cm)

Condition: Intact with some thin encrustation.

Provenance: Formerly in a private British collection.
