Intact Thracian Tomb Discovered

Archaeologists in souther Bulgaria have reported finding a complete Thracian tomb decorated with well-preserved painted murals, according to news reports from the region.

Archaeologists are hailing the discovery as one of the most significant Thracian finds of the century.

The tomb is made of large stone blocks and has a dual-chambered dome. Inside are brightly painted murals of horses and armed Thracian warriors. The tomb was discovered near Haskovo, approximately 150 miles outside of Sofia.
